Joy Bible Camp Update

Dear all,
"A picture is worth a thousand words" so they say. Let me share with you several thousand! Camp is going well and we'd appreciate your continued prayers.

Prayer Requests:
  • For our speaker Ruth Ingulsrud (a.k.a. Pipi)
  • For counselors as they interact with the kids
  • For the puppeteers and those who are sharing testimonies
  • For continued physical safety of the staff and campers
  • For beautiful weather for tomorrow's lunch at the river!
Psalm 119:68
"You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees."

June Greetings

Joy Bible Camp Staff Training
Today we had JBC staff training from 9AM-4PM and I am thrilled to be working with such dedicated staff members! Already I have seen enthusiasm and a love for the Lord and I look forward to seeing how the staff will be used in our upcoming camps. Below are some photos from our staff training time. Please pray for wisdom as staff as we seek to share the Lord with the kid. Please also pray for open hearts on the part of the kids who have made the decision to spend part of their summer with us at JBC!

Nojiri Summer Plans
Following the completion of summer camps I will be going to Nojiri Lake with my family. For 3 weeks I will be resting up, reading lots, and working around the cabin. Once the season begins I will be sharing the Waterfront Coordinator position with another N.L.A. member which basically allows me the privilege of being in charge of all the aquatic activities at N.L.A. (with an exception of sailing). I will also be teaching a Lifeguard Review course this summer which includes CPR/AED and basic waterfront lifeguarding skills.

Teaching at CAJ
I am now finished with 2 years of teaching HS Bible at CAJ and the Lord has a new chapter in store for me. Next year I will be teaching 6th grade Bible, Science and Math. Not only will it be a change in curriculum but it is also a entirely new division change so I would appreciate prayers as I prepare over the summer to teach in those classes.
